S. pilot and aviation engineer Bruce Robertson outlined this theory on his website, based on known facts about Malaysia Airlines flights and their carriers.
He said the lithium-ion battery caught fire, causing a deadly mass of carbon monoxide to enter the cabin.
Pilot Zahari Ahmed Shah succumbed to the smoke,
Pilot Farrick Abdul Hamid survived long enough to make the plane turn around and drop.
Innocent victims. . . .
S. aviation engineer Bruce Robertson insists the disappearance of mh370 should not be blamed on captain Chahari.

Mr. Robertson said: \"There is no conspiracy, no evil intentions, no vague pictures, just a simple industrial accident, and it took a while for the accident to happen because automation was trying to save the situation.
\"The injured bird did his best to survive, but that\'s not the case.
Mr. Robertson believes that the Boeing 777 crashed west of Exmouth, Western Australia, far from where the search staff currently work.

MH370 report on lithium
The ion Battery Theory on board is the latest theory in a series of explanations proposed by \"experts\", aiming to explain how a complex aircraft with 239 people on board disappeared in the 21st century.
Others include pilot sabotage, hijacking, rapid cabin decompression, and alien kidnapping. No fun . . .
The searchers endured terrible conditions when searching for mh370.

As research has found that ion batteries can easily overheat and cause fires, some airlines have now banned ion batteries.
Batteries are banned: Airlines take action on potentially flammable goods, but Mr Robertson\'s simple theory failed to convince other experts that the death of mh370 was due to industrial accidents.
Former pilot and writer Peter Lee, who wrote his own analysis \"MH370 was accidental or designed,\" said that the plane would not be too good without deliberate human intervention. Hope lives on . . .

In order to have a reasonable explanation of the system failure, a large number of different and repetitive components must almost fail at the same time.
