On February 8, 2025, a Ukrainian manufacturing facility successfully commissioned a 250kW/600kWh industrial energy storage system to optimize power consumption and reduce operational costs. This project, designed for commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage applications, leverages cutting-edge energy storage solutions to enhance grid independence and stabilize energy supply during peak demand.
Technical Configuration
The system integrates five units of GSL-BESS50K120, a BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) model renowned for its reliability in industrial energy storage systems. Each unit delivers a 120kWh battery capacity, forming a scalable all-in-one energy storage system that operates seamlessly in outdoor environments. By paralleling these commercial battery storage systems, the facility achieves a total output of 250kW and 600kWh of lithium battery storage, ensuring robust performance for high-energy-demand operations.
The GSL-BESS50K120kWh is an all-in-one energy storage system equipped with a 50kVA inverter and 120kWh battery capacity. Designed for Mini C&I ESS systems, it offers easy installation and user-friendly operation. This versatile system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, with the flexibility to be expanded through parallel connections. It’s an ideal solution for microgrids, off-grid peak shaving, self-generation, industrial parks, and large residential areas.
1. Quick Installation and Cost Efficiency This all-in-one energy storage system is pre-configured to reduce on-site installation time. The complete system includes inverters, battery trays, racks, BMS, microgrid controllers, HVAC, fire suppression, islanding switches, and an outdoor-rated enclosure.
2. Easy and Flexible Scalability The modular design allows for seamless capacity expansion. The rack-mounted system is designed for installation in various environments and can be expanded to 130kWh. Multiple units can be easily paralleled for further capacity increases.
3. Safety Technology with Multi-Level Protection The GSL-BESS50K120kWh features Grade A Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, ensuring the highest levels of safety, thermal stability, and reliability. An integrated multi-level Battery Management System (BMS) monitors, optimizes, and balances the entire system for peak performance.
4. Multiple Certifications The system has passed IEC/EN 62109-1, IEC/EN 62109-2, IEC/EN 61000-6-1, IEC/EN 61000-6-2, IEC/EN 61000-6-3, and IEC/EN 61000-6-4 certifications, ensuring it meets the highest international standards for quality, safety, and performance.
